Daiwa Saltist Spinning Reels are the place to turn when you need a saltwater spinning reel with a fast retrieve rate, with some models featuring a retrieve rate as high as 49 inches per turn! The new Saltist is also lighter and smoother than its predecessor and continues with forward with simple, durable features for greater strength and reliability.
The addition of Magseal Magnetic Oil to the line roller and main shaft results in smooth performance and the new Air Rotor and Air Bail have shaved significant weight. Dual full time anti-reverse, sealed waterproof drag, and a machined alumnium handle round out the package. All models have a manual bail to avoid the infamous “bail flip” that plagues many reels resulting in lost lures.
