The Daiwa Certate LT Spinning Reels pack many of Daiwa’s top of the line features seen only in their flagship reels. Daiwa’s LT “Light and Tough” concept features an oversized DigiGear machined main gear housed by a compact frame. The body of the reel itself utilizes a one piece design, known to Daiwa as their “Monocoque Body”. This design enhances the strength and rigidity of the body as well as eliminates the need for screws and pins, reducing the areas where water and debris can enter the reel. Daiwa’s Air Rotor design was also implemented, distributing rotor stress more evenly while also reducing the weight of the rotor by 15%, requiring even less effort to turn the handle.
